Steppin' High
Steppin' High is made up of chorus members Jean Points, Anita Woods, Betty Belcher, and Ruth Helmburg. The quartet has been performing together since 1996. Their trademark brand of comedy puts them in high demand around the Lexington Kentucky area.
From left: Anita, Jean, Ruth, Betty- Jean Points, tenor, is a physical therapist from Mt. Sterling. She rubs backs and massages sore muscles for the quartet.
- Anita Woods, lead, is a household engineer from Georgetown. She does the shopping for the quartet.
- Betty Belcher, baritone, is from Mt. Sterling, and is now retired from her previous position as Jean's Office Manager.
- Ruth Helmburg, bass, lives in Versailles and is now retired. She is a charter member of our chorus, which means she's been around for over 40 years. (Ruth swears she joined before she could walk).
